INTRODUCING THE VERSUS PROJECT
In 1999, Nick "Mez" Mesritz created NMD Stox. His mission was to design and shape a stock line of bodyboards with a custom board mindset, working with the best riders and best materials to give the modern day rider a truly high performance product.
During his formative years, Mez played a key role in the training of 4 prominent shapers. As an exclusive NMD project, Mez wanted to work with his friends in a capacity that would involve their shaping talents in a one on one’ collaboration with the sports top riders. This Project is VS Bodyboards.
Project 0.1 Mitch Rawlins vs Jarrod Gibson
Mitch Rawlins is a Bodyboarding wunderkind. Freakishly talented from a young age, Mitch was nurtured by the sports former greats and has since gone on to dominate line-ups around the world. His paring with Australian shaping protégé, Jarrod Gibson, has seen the creation of a quiver that sets the standard for performance Bodyboards.
